Question of Power Supply
2022-06-27 13:58

1. Whether the positive electrode and negative electrode of the power supply are connected reversely?

Suggestion: please check the wiring for correct wiring. (Generally red line is the positive electrode of the power supply and the black line is the negative one.)

2. Whether the power supply voltage is normal?

Suggestion: under the full load state (Put all the equipment connect the power.), then use a voltmeter or multimeter to measure whether the voltage of the equipment power input is 10.8V ~ 13.8V (The standard voltmeter is 12V). If the voltage is too low or too high, please replace the power supply with standard voltage and high power.

3. Whether the power supply current meets requirement?

Suggestion: under the full load state (Put all the equipment connect power.) , then use a voltmeter or multimeter to measure whether the voltage of the equipment power input pin is 10.8V ~ 13.8V (The standard voltmeter is 12V). If the voltage is too low or too high, please replace the power supply with a higher power supply. While using power at full load, you can observe the voltage drop. If the drop of voltage exceeds the specified value, it means that the power supply is not enough to support the use of the whole system.

4. Whether the power attributes are correct?

Suggestion: please use DC power supply. It is DC12V 3A power supply instead of AC power supply.

5. Power cable too long?

Suggestion: please refer to the following table for the length and thickness of the power line. (Too long power cable will lead to insufficient power supply.)

6. Power output ripple exceeds the standard

Suggestion: it is recommended to use high-quality power supply to avoid problems such as abnormal operation, crash and data loss caused by ripple noise of poor power supply output.
